Trinity is a Reformed Baptist Church affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. We are dedicated to the strengthening and equipping of the Body of Christ through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God, Christ centered worship, and the proclamation of the Gospel of Christ to the world.
Trinity was founded in 1940, affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. In the early 1980's Trinity began the process of reformation and by 1990 Trinity considered itself to be a Reformed Baptist Church. In 1999 we adopted the Second London Baptist Confession of 1689 as our confessional statement. Also that year we sold our facility on Plank Road and relocated to our Wooddale Court location . In 2015 we acquired the facility of the former Goodwood Baptist Church. In 2023 we transferred the ownership of the Trinity properties to another local church. They will be conducting services on Sunday morning while Trinity has moved our Sunday worship services to Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm. A brief video describing this arrangement can be seen here.
While we enjoy a long history of stability, we consider ourselves a relatively new congregation with a great zeal for advancing the Gospel of Christ and strengthening His people. |
